If you are travelling the Loop tour by car, you should stay on Main St., proceeding down to the Lighthouse area as you view the individual tour sites are on this section of Main St.

If you are on foot or bicycle, there are many side streets to explore. Take a walk down Holloway St for a spectacular view looking own toward Lighthouse Beach. Walk to the east end of Water Street and imagine a street twice as long, with more homes on each side prior to 1987, and in the 1800’s a beach cluttered with the trappings of a fishing industry centered here. Water Street is reputedly the only street in Chatham that dead–ends at a body of water at both ends.
