Parking
If the parking lot at the Visitor Center is full, you may park on the Causeway and walk in.
Usage Rules

Disturbance, destruction, or removal of wildlife (dead or alive), vegetation, and facilities is prohibited.

Under the Marine Mammal Protection Act of 1972, it is against the law to touch, feed or harass seals. Please stay at least 50 yards away from the seals.

Public uses of designated trails are permitted from half an hour before sunrise to half an hour after sunset.

Surf fishing on Morris Island is permitted 24 hours a day. Please park on the Causeway before and after refuge hours.

Hunting, fires, and camping are prohibited on the refuge.

Pets are not allowed on the Monomoy Islands. Dogs on Morris Island must be kept on a short leash (less than 6 feet).

Motorized vehicles and bikes are restricted to the refuge entrance. Bikes are not allowed on trails.

To reduce disturbance to wildlife, please stay out of areas marked as “area closed” or “beach closed” are off limits.
